The forests, rivers and fields around North Bend have plenty of quiet spots. Some parks and trails need a permit for ceremonies, so we'll check together before you choose.
Summer and early fall are the easiest for trails. In spring the waterfalls are at their fullest, just expect a little mud and rain.
The forest is beautiful on cloudy days. The light is soft and even, so a grey sky here is actually a gift.
North Bend is about forty minutes east of Seattle. Close enough for a slow morning, far enough to feel like a real escape.
